Job Description
Lead engaging fieldwork and inspire geographical exploration at our independent school in Havering!
We seek a Geography Teacher with a passion for fieldwork and experiential learning to join our team. You will create memorable learning experiences for our students and foster a deep understanding of geographical concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 35.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that emphasizes fieldwork and practical learning.
- Organize and lead fieldwork trips and excursions.
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel examinations.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Contribute to the wider school community and promote the importance of Geography.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Geography or a related subject.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary level including ALevel.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Geography curriculum including fieldwork.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for experiential learning and inspiring young minds.
