Job Description
Position Summary:
Jefferies is seeking an experienced associate to help assist in covering the clean energy sector. Job duties and requirements include:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for associatelevel coverage of an array of clean energy stocks
- Build and maintain detailed company models
- Stay on top of company news track filings listen to conference calls
- Write first look notes contribute to longer thematic reports and company initiations
- Field questions and communicate with sales and/or clients
- Maintain relationships with company IR teams.
Qualifications:
- 3 years experience covering clean energy on the sellside buyside banking or consulting.
- Experienced in FactSet and/or Bloomberg; knowledge of industryspecific databases also helpful.
- Advanced Excel modeling and writing skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting corporate finance and energyspecific terminology/concepts
Education:
- Bachelors/University degree
- CFA or progression towards CFA preferred
- FINRA Series 7 63 86 and 87 preferred (required within 5 months of hire)
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $135000 $165000.
