Job Description
The job duties are as follows:
- Support implementation troubleshooting and maintenance of Windows serversand 2019 including the provisioning of a Windows 11 VDI infrastructure for enclave access and program support.
- Support IT systems including daytoday operations monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices etc.
- Escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers
- Provides Tier 2 and 3 (Escalation) problem identification diagnosis and resolution of problems. Creates and updates ServiceNow tickets accordingly.
- Manages GPOs applies security and system patching and coordinates/supports all service leads utilizing Windows servers across the program.
- Configures and manages Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software troubleshoots maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Will be comfortable in all areas of analysis design installation implementation configuration tuning administration operation and security of midtolargetier Windows systems.
- Be knowledgeable in the following categories: Power shell Microsoft Exchange Microsoft Active Directory Trelix ePolicy Orchestrator Virtualization and VMWare and Amazon Web Services.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning.
- Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with servers windows applications and software integration.
- Be able to respond to afterhours requests as required in a 24 x 7 environment as needed.
DoD 8570 Compliance with IAT level 1 is required (SECce or A or Network or CCNA).
Requirements
Ten 10 years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity within the Federal Government is required. Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five 5 years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
