The hourly pay rate for this position is $20.00 $24.00 per hour this varies depending on experience education certifications licensure and location.

Who Were Looking For
We are looking to hire fulltime and parttime Veterinary Assistants to join our team!The ideal candidate will be a dependable detailoriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients knowledge of equipment used drawing blood and running bloodwork knowledge of xrays proper animal handling and restraint surgical assisting experience understanding the importance of client education and being a positive and motivating team member.

Requirements:
- At least one year of recent experience in veterinary practice or animalrelated experience
- Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays (regularly)
- Ability to properly restrain patients.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks in the time allotted without direct supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- A commitment to outstanding client service.
- Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 40 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to stay on task and work energetically for an entire shift.
