What is it that we do
Includ(Ed) provides early interventionfocused services where all are welcome. We work in homes across the county as well as at an inclusive childcare and clinic center to provide holistic playbased relationshipcentered Early Intervention therapies for children aged 05.
The Role:
Alongside the rest of the field therapy team this Occupational Therapist would see approximately 210 infants and toddlers in the home to provide therapy.
Compensation: $75 per hour for inhome session $45 per hour for classroom sessions
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct services to children with diverse needs fostering their motor sensory and cognitive development.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children in collaboration with parents and other professionals.
Conduct assessments and evaluations in childrens homes to identify specific therapeutic needs.
Provide individualized treatment sessions focusing on enhancing childrens functional abilities in their home environments.
Educate and train parents or caregivers on strategies to support their childs development and address specific challenges.
Document and maintain accurate records of assessments treatment plans progress reports and any related administrative tasks.
Communicate regularly with parents/caregivers to provide updates on their childs progress and involve them in goalsetting and treatment planning.
Qualifications:
A Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
CA State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience working with young children in early intervention settings
Knowledge of best practices in inclusive education and early childhood development.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with children families and a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated understanding of individualized treatment planning and the ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse needs.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interact compassionately with children parents and colleagues.
Empathy patience and a genuine passion for working with children of all abilities.

Regular access to reliable transportation.
Working Hours:
Approx. 310 hours per week providing home visits therapy to our clients

Physical Requirements of the Job:
Applicants should be comfortable:
Standing for 2 plus hours per day
Stooping bending climbing and walking frequently
Lifting up to 40 pounds
