Position Title (Classification Title):Adjunct Instructor Pool Department of BiologyJob Summary:The UWF Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering Department of Biology is seeking qualified parttime adjunct instructors to teach Biology courses. Instructors with experience in Introductory Biology I or II Anatomy & Physiology Cell & Molecular Biology Genetics Marine Biology & Oceanography and Zoology are particularly needed.

The college is building a pool of adjuncts for teaching opportunities for upcoming semesters. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.DepartmentBiologyFLSA:ExemptMinimum Qualifications:Holds at least the masters degree in an appropriate specialization or the equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and is otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee may engage in teaching scholarship and creative projects and/or service and other related activities but is not eligible for tenure.Position Qualifications:Masters degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.Preferred QualificationsA doctorate degree in the appropriate field of specialization from an accredited institutionPhysical Demands:

Physical Requirements: Occasional and/or light lifting required. Limited exposure to elements such as heat cold noise dust dirt chemicals etc. but none to the point of being disagreeable. May involve minor safety hazards where likely results would be cuts bruises etc.
Impact of Deadlines:Work schedules volume of work or priorities seldom change. Able to anticipate new work. Minimum distractions or interruptions. Seldom involves conflicting demands on time.
