Job Description

The Department of Neurology University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry invites applications for a fulltime Instructor at Strong Memorial Hospital specializing in experimental therapeutic of neurooncology. Trainees will be part of the NIH/NINDS Experimental Therapeutics training program and the individual to be trained must be a citizen or a noncitizen national of the United States or have been lawfully admitted for permanent residence at the time of appointment.

The Department of Neurology and the Neurooncology Division at the University of Rochester represent a talented team of neurologists scientists nurse practitioners therapists nurses technicians research coordinators trainees and staff who are singularly focused on making a difference in the lives of people with neurological and disabling conditions. Our Department is a committed group of over 100 faculty who routinely rank nationally as a US News and World Report Best Hospitals and as one of the top Departments of Neurology in NIH funding.

Candidates must have an MD DO or equivalent and board certified or eligible and have had successfully completed a Residency program specializing in Neurology. Applicants must have or be eligible for a New York State medical license and pass preemployment drug testing.
