Your Role as a Housekeeper
We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and organization of our community spaces. The Housekeeper plays an essential role in maintaining a sanitary and comfortable environment for residents staff and visitors.
What Youll Do:
- Plan organize and adhere to a cleaning schedule.
- Perform cleaning assignments and ensure compliance with cleanliness and infection control standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
- Report maintenance and repair needs to the supervisor.
- Manage housekeeping inventory and ensure adequate supplies.
- Assist with plant and flower care as needed.
- Prepare rooms for new residents after discharge.
- Follow safety protocols for handling hazardous chemicals and maintain proper labeling.
- Attend inservice training and staff meetings to improve service and operational efficiency.
Physical Demands:
- Standing sitting walking and changing positions frequently.
- Lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs.; pushing and pulling up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to crouch kneel balance stoop and bend.
Safety Requirements:
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves gowns and face protection.
- Use lumbar support when lifting heavy items.
- Wear nonslip supportive shoes.
- Follow OSHA standards for hazardous chemical handling and SDS guidelines.
- Mandatory reporting of workrelated injuries within 12 hours.
- Participation in company drug testing procedures.
Work Environment:
This job operates in an indoor environment with adequate lighting and ventilation. It may include attending outdoor or public activities with residents.
Qualifications:
- Grade school education required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
