Job Description

Position Summary:
Responsible for performing daily shipping activities that include processing daily orders through various shipping systems daily shipping requests courier/LTL shipments delivery/hand off of all processed packages and USPS metered mail.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Run daily mailings through USPS postage machine
- Process all shipping requests through designated carrier systems
- Process customer packages using internal shipping system
- Handingoff all processed packages to carriers at time of scheduled pickups
- Palletize wrap strap and/or stage packages according to carrier and/or service level
- Complete scheduled deliveries on time and interact with external vendors/customers in an effective manner while operating company vehicle
- Deliver metered mail to local USPS facility
- Support the picking or packing of customer/internal orders when needed
- Material Handler duties may be assigned due to departmental cross utilization
- Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient safe clean and goal oriented work environment
Job Requirements:

- Effective communication/comprehension skills verbal and written form
- Math skill Ability to add subtract multiply and divide accurately
- Attention to detail and perform multitasks successfully
- Affectively communicate with internal/external contacts/vendors
Education/Experience:
- High school Diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Previous work experience of 1 year in fulfillment/warehouse environment preferred
