Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Auto Insurance Early Settlement Claims Adjuster. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting personal auto policy language analyzing liability and resolving bodily injury claims efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret personal auto policy language and analyze liability for the appropriate jurisdictions
  • Document claim files with notes evaluations and decisionmaking processes
  • Secure detailed factual recorded statements from insured individuals claimants and witnesses
  • Maintain adequate loss reserves and achieve initial contact standards
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with automotive repair facilities police authorities and independent appraisal firms
  • Monitor rental vehicle usage and manage diaries for timely claims resolution
  • Appropriately recognize and assign claims to the Special Investigation Unit (SIU)
  • Maintain confidentiality of claim information and handle Total Losses to completion
  • Exceed customer expectations and negotiate bodily injury claims promptly and effectively

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred High School Diploma required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in handling automobile claims and resolving bodily injury claims
  • Adjusters license for KY SC or TX preferred but not required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products keyboarding and data entry skills
  • Unwavering business ethics and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive customer service relationships

Daytoday:

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting policy language documenting claim files securing statements maintaining loss reserves and negotiating bodily injury claims. They will also develop working relationships with repair facilities police authorities and appraisal firms.

Salary/Pay:

  • $63000 $78000 (DOE)
