Job Description
Get teaching experience with an internship
If youre studying for an undergraduate or masters degree and interested in teaching an internship could help you to understand what its really like in the classroom.
Internships last 3 weeks start in June or July and youll be paid 425 per week.
Before you start youll need:
- To be interested in teaching chemistry computing maths physics or modern foreign languages.
- To be studying for an undergraduate or masters degree related to the above subjects.
- To have a right to work in the UK; if you are an international student check your visa many people on a student visa for example can work for 20 hours per week during termtime and fulltime during holidays.
This programme is funded by the Department for Education submitting an application form you are agreeing to the DfEs privacy policy. They will shareinformation with you regarding developing a career in teaching via their Get into Teaching Adviser Service.
The DfE also offer free onetoone support from advisers with years of teaching experience. You can talk to themvia phone email text or WhatsApp. If you do not wish to speak to an adviser you can opt out by contactingemailprotected.
This is an additional service to the internships programme and you can still do an internship without having an adviser.
