Job Description
SUMMARY
Pohanka of Salisbury Automotive is seeking a Service Manager to join our team. If you enjoy delivering an excellent customer experience and have prior experience working as a service manager we want to talk to you! Our complex in Salisbury MD includes 9 dealerships. Applicants Must Have a Proven Track Record of Success in Customer Retention CSI ESI Shop Productivity Expense Control and Departmental Profitability.Applicants should be Driven goaloriented professionals who can motivate train develop manage and grow Our Service Department to the Next Level.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that customers receive prompt courteous and effective service
- Serve as a liaison between technicians and customers
- Take ownership of the customers experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression on the customer
- Manage and hire technicians and service advisors
- Interview and make new hires
- Distribute work between technicians
- Prioritize required services
- Ensure customer has a positive dealership experience
- Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries whether by phone or in person to ensure the customer does not get mishandled
- Spend quality time building relationships with the customers

REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical automotive knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to manage others
- Organized and friendly personality
- Dealership experience or service manager experience is necessary
