As a Product Control Associate in our Product Control team you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting. You will collaborate with us to support trading desks and financial controllers providing detailed analysis and insights. This position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and innovative environment. Together we will implement robust controls and drive new business initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with daily profit and loss reporting and monthend close processes
- Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to desk heads business managers and senior finance management
- Partner with the business to implement robust controls and new business initiatives
- Drive coordination across various front and back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues
- Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control
- Handle various adhoc requests on a daily basis
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- 3 years of experience in Product Control Financial Control Accounting or a related area
- Experience with profit and loss and monthend close processes
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or a related area
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a focus on control
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Solid understanding of financial products
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software
- Strong problemsolving skills and adaptability
- Experience in a similar role within a financial institution
