Responsibilities
Build and maintain key relationships with clients (municipal agencies as well as industrial clients developers and landowners) and industry organizations.
Identify potential project prospects and lead or assist in the preparation of technical proposals to support marketing efforts.
Successfully manage engineering projects of varying scope and complexity including monitoring of budgets and schedules allocating resources and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
Manage or support Infrastructure Planning Studies including Master Plans Secondary Plans and Class Environmental Assessments.
Manage or support Capacity Assessments of water and wastewater systems in support of private development applications and public infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with other discipline leads within and beyond the Water Sector for business development project delivery staff development and problemsolving.
Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff within the water and wastewater modelling team.
Qualifications
10 years of experience and expertise with modeling software. Software platforms include InfoWorks ICM InfoSewer/InfoWater SewerGEMS/ WaterGEMS PCSWMM and other relevant platforms.
5 years of experience in Project Management activities and managing technical staff with demonstrated ability to manage projects of varying scope and complexity.
Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
ESRI ArcGIS expertise.
Strong hydraulic and hydrologic analysis capabilities.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Municipal engineering design and construction experience a benefit.
Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team working together to achieve technical excellence.
