Calling all Cooks!
Come join The Forest as we strive to provide a best in class caring community that fosters the independence of our residents by enhancing their ability to lead healthy active purposeful and secure lives. As a Cook and a Forest Team Member youll help support this mission by being responsible for the preparation and serving of all food items in three different venues and providing prompt and courteous customer service to residents guests and staff.
What were looking for in our next Team Member....
- Minimum 1 year experience in food prep handling and cooking required.
- Prior experience in fine dining Four & Five Star/Diamond Hotels and resorts is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills; able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Cando spirit; able to build positive relationships with residents family members and staff.
- Customer service focus; able to resolve conflict/issues without becoming emotional or defensive.
- Strong time management skills; able to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion.
- General knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices. ServSafe Certification highly preferred.
