Job Description

Kettering Health is a notforprofit system of 13 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio. Campus Overview

Kettering Health Springfield

The onestory 42000squarefoot medical center located at 2300 N. Limestone St. is expected to open in the spring of 2022.

Available services will include:

  • 24/7 emergency center including lab and imaging
  • Medical offices for primary care and specialty services
  • The medical facility will employ approximately 50 fulltime positions and it is expected to cost $20 million to build.
  • The new location builds on Kettering Healths existing services in Springfield including a primary care office on Middle Urbana Rd. and a health center on Emmanuel Way that offers imaging services physical and occupational therapy primary care and specialty services.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • To perform high level clinical respiratory care under indirect technical supervision as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.
  • Additional the position demonstrates a strong approach to all network initiatives and will be a role model for KHN mission vision and values.
  • Performs various respiratory procedures on a daytoday basis under indirect supervision for all age group as specified per campus departmental policy
  • Exercises good independent clinical judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting policies and procedures
  • Maintains productivity at or above required levels.
  • Assures correct documentation of all records
  • Occasionally performs the role of Lead Therapist shift Team Leader or clinical Instructor as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Education Graduates of a 24year AMA approved Respiratory Program

    Required Licenses Ohio United States Respiratory Therapist Registered Respiratory Therapist Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner for the State of Ohio Credentials issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care

    Active AARC member must demonstrate acute/critical care knowledge as it relates to cardiopulmonary diseases states involved in precepting acute/critical care areas supervisor capabilities current BLS with ACLS P and NRP for respective work area.
