Job Summary
The Department of Marketing in the Davis College of Business and Economics at Radford University invites applications for a fulltime Special Purpose faculty appointment in Marketing beginning August 10 2022. The position involves teaching four classes each semester and providing service at the departmental college and university levels. Applicants must be considered a qualified instructor per AACSB accreditation requirements as well as by the standards of the Davis College of Business and Economics. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to add intellectual diversity to the department engage successfully with diverse students and colleagues and help students understand diverse perspectives. Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining necessary faculty qualifications per the standards of the Davis College of Business and Economics.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a masters degree in marketing business or a closely related discipline and with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in marketing or a closely related field. Candidates with a masters degree in a closely allied field will be considered if they possess Recent sustained professional experience that is substantive in terms of level of responsibility and related to the area of teaching; the Department Chair with the approval of the Dean or his/her designee will judge if the nature and duration of professional activity is appropriate; If relevant the appropriate professional designation/certificate for the field of teaching as identified by that departments Personnel Committee.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in Marketing or with an expected Ph.D completion date before August 2022 from an AACSB Accredited School.
