100 FTE Monday Friday between the hours of 8:00 am 5:00 pm with one weekend day call rotation a month. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department.
As an Advanced Practice Provider youll play an integral role in our inpatient care teams by providing highquality costeffective care to patients.
We are seeking aNurse PractitionerorPhysician Assistantto:
- Be a member of team comprised of a dedicated and talented group of individuals who are committed to patient and familycentered care injury prevention work and keeping kids safe.
- Work autonomously with the support of an experienced team.
- Enjoy daytoday variability and flexibility with both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities.
- Be part of a team that spans beyond the hospital walls and engage with a wide range of community partners.
Education:
Minimum
If Nurse Practitioner:Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant:Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited PA Program.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner*:
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses including prescriptive authority in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following:Family Pediatric Acute Care or Pediatric Primary Care.
If Physician Assistant*:
- Active PA license including prescriptive authority in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
*Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.
