A partner hospital is seeking a fulltime Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team in Sarasota FL. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree and experience in emergency medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency care to animals in urgent need.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses injuries and emergencies.
- Administer medications fluids and other treatments.
- Perform surgery as necessary to stabilize patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate closely with the veterinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Serve patients and clients with a relationshipbased approach and maintain strong community ties within the Sarasota area.
- Encourage the growth of support staff members through internal training and mentorship programs.
Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMAaccredited college (or completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
- Experience in emergency medicine preferred but open to all experience levels including new graduates.
- Active state license in good standing to practice in Florida (or the ability to obtain).
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration.
