Utilities Technician

(Stationary Engineer/HVAC Mechanic/ Ammonia Refrigeration Technician)

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Utilities Technician to work at our processing facility in Avon NY. Ideal candidates must be safety and qualityorientated and be willing to work in a teamorientated fastpaced work environment.Under the direction of the Facility Maintenance and Engineering Manager the Ammonia Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the safe efficient and reliable operation maintenance and monitoring of the plant ammonia/refrigeration compressed air process steam steam plant heating steam condensate hot/cold water HVAC fire protection.

Minimum Qualifications:

This job requires flexibility to work first second or third shifts weekends and holidays.

Must have a working knowledge of refrigeration steam generation compressed air and HVAC fields.

Must be physically capable of wearing a gas mask and selfcontained breathing apparatus.

Must be capable of completing all lifting 100 lbs. climbing and other physical demands.

CFC Certification Type I & Type II: (Minimum) as defined by EPA.

Steam/Refrigeration License preferred.

  • A $1.25 shift differential for those who are working on the second shift.
