Electrical Apprentice Travel Required
Creature is an integrated designbuild firm based in Birmingham AL. Our focus is on developing a differentiated delivery platform that improves the lives of our employees and customers. We are focused on the delivery of facilities utilizing the Design Manufacture Construct (DMC) methodology. DMC replaces the centuryold siloed approach of the Architecture Engineering and Construction Industry. A major component of our platform is our inhouse Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing trades.
Job Description:
Creature is looking for Electrical Apprentices who are eager to develop their skills and build a longterm career in the electrical trade. The ideal candidate for this role is a hardworking motivated individual who takes pride in their work enjoys learning new skills and is committed to excellence. As an Electrical Apprentice you will work alongside experienced electricians to gain handson experience while assisting with installations maintenance and repairs on a variety of commercial projects.
This is a traveling role requiring frequent travel to job sites across different locations. Per diem payments and travel accommodations will be provided.
Role Expectations:
- Develop a strong foundation in electrical systems components and installation techniques
- Work closely with experienced electrical team members to learn best practices and industry standards
- Follow Creatures systems and processes to ensure highquality work and safety compliance
- Assist in the installation troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems under supervision
- Travel regularly to various job sites as needed often working in different cities or states
- Participate in training programs and actively seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite ensuring all tools and materials are properly handled
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic reliability and willingness to take on new challenges
- Communicate effectively with team members project managers and supervisors
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in learning the electrical trade and a desire to advance within the industry
- Ability to follow instructions work as part of a team and adapt to a fastpaced environment
- Willingness to go through additional training and certification programs as required
- Basic understanding of hand tools and construction techniques is a plus
- Physically capable of performing manual labor including lifting carrying and working in various environments
- Comfortable with extensive travel and working away from home for extended periods
- A positive attitude problemsolving mindset and commitment to professional growth
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license to travel to job sites as needed
