About the Role
You will be working within the Community Projects Team to train support and encourage Community Development Program (CDP) participants to actively engage in both accredited and nonaccredited training and workshops.
Contribute to the organisations success within the CDP by actively participating in the community projects team ensuring that training aligns with the objectives and aspirations of the Regional Workforce Development Plan.
We are looking for a suitable applicant who has:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122 or higher qualification with minimum of 3 years experience in vocational education and training.
Relevant qualifications and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: civil construction and plant operation mechanical welding/fabrication carpentry tourism/hospitality retail horticulture and agriculture.
Proven ability to work effectively in a small team manage commitments and meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Strong administrative skills with experience managing confidential information.
Ability to travel within the Darwin / Daly service region
