Job Description
La Salle Universitys Department of Integrated Science Business and Technology has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach the upperlevel Bioinformatics course. This course provides a broad introduction to the field of bioinformatics science including basic computational methods and work with inhousegenerated data. The course is offered in the Spring semester as a lecturebased course. This position includes an opportunity to coteach the genome annotation portion of an additional introductorylevel course. Masters Degree in Science Engineering Technology or closely related field Knowledge and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
Preferred Qualifications
Significant work experience in bioinformatics science Previous experience teaching at the undergraduate level Applicants who can meaningfully advance the departments mission to expand opportunities for science students from underrepresented communities
