Job Description
Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design implementation and optimization of complex network circuits to meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Knowledge of DOD network and system security requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Conduct indepth analysis of network performance metrics and implement optimization strategies to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Knowledge of networking and networkbased software applications in a DOD IT environment
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop comprehensive network solutions that align with organizational objectives.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends in circuit engineering and network infrastructure to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including network diagrams configuration guides and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting activities to resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of IP and optical network operation.
- Utilization of monitoring tools to provide both reactive and proactive support for the client network and systems infrastructure
- Knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices related to Information Management Operations and with ITSM best practices.
- Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in creating engineering circuit layout diagrams
- Minimum 5 years experience in digital and analogcircuit design and implementation
- Minimum 5 years experience in analysis testing and troubleshooting circuits
- Minimum 5 years experience with help desk support and operation.
- Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Related Field
- Clearance: Must possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance
