What Youll Do:

As Microbiology Manager you will oversee daytoday operations and lead a highperforming microbiology department within a central laboratory that supports an entire healthcare division. Your focus will be on operational excellence regulatory compliance staff development and delivering highquality diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily technical and nontechnical microbiology operations in a central lab environment.

• Collaborate with Division and Regional Directors to meet goals related to service quality regulatory standards financial performance and patient satisfaction.

• Monitor and analyze resource utilization including staffing supplies and revenue data to optimize department performance.

• Coach mentor and develop a talented team of supervisors and technologists.

• Recruit interview and select toptier professionals for open departmental roles.

• Ensure compliance with CAP CLIA and other regulatory standards.

• Support occasional travel across the division for leadership and integration initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related science from a NAACLSaccredited program.

• National certification (ASCP AMT or equivalent) required.

• Minimum of 35 years supervisory experience in microbiology within a central or highvolume bacteriology lab.

• Demonstrated ability to lead motivate and manage lab personnel effectively.

• Strong understanding of microbiology workflows quality systems and regulatory compliance.
