Job Description

Your contribution:
- You will design scalable and powerful database architectures that meet the requirements of our application and support business growth
- You create and maintain database models schemas and data flow diagrams to map our data structure and its relationships
- Improve database performance through techniques such as indexing partitioning and query optimization
- You will work closely with different teams to capture requirements and implement feasible database solutions
- In addition to that you will also be reasonable for guiding and training junior database architects and administrators
What you bring along:
- Demonstrable experience as a database architect or similar role including a strong portfolio of projects in database design and implementation
- A bachelors degree in computer science information technology or related field; a masters degree is desirable
- Indepth knowledge of common database management systems such as SQL server oracle mySQL PostgreSQL and noSQL databases profound experience with cloud database services such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL database is a plus
- Excellent proficiency in English and fluent in German
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with technical and nontechnical stakeholders coupled with excellent problemsolving abilities to evolving technologies
