Job Summary:

The Engineer V Senior Project Engineer will utilize a comprehensive understanding of current engineering principles and practices to address various aspects impacting the organization. This role involves leveraging extensive experience to tackle critical issues and unique conditions. The Engineer V will stay updated on new methods and developments recommending enhancements or changes in program focus while managing programs of limited complexity and scope.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead a program team for the organization.
• Stay informed about new developments and requirements affecting the organization to recommend program changes or application updates.
• Interpret organize execute and coordinate assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient with electronic communications (email text) and standard office applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Advanced oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead program meetings and make presentations.
• Represent the organization and maintain liaison with individuals and related organizations.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Masters Degree or equivalent.
• 10 years of prior experience.
• Commitment to lifelong learning to stay updated on contemporary issues.

Additional Qualifications Certifications etc.:

• Professional Engineer (PE) equivalent or authorization of CLPO.
• Membership in a professional practice organization national board member or officer or national technical/policy committee member.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversee the work of other consultants.
• Supervise a team of engineers and technicians.
• Plan schedule or coordinate the preparation of documents or activities for multiple major projects or an entire program.
• Review operational procedures to ensure compliance with applicable policies and performance measures.

Additional Compensation: Based on qualifications and experience the salary range for this position is $120000 $150000 per year.
