Temporary Grades 3 and 4 Teacher

East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 Grades 3 and 4 Teacher at St. Jeromes School in Vermilion Alberta.
This is a fulltime temporary contract position replacing maternity leave. Duties will commence on May 5 2025 and the contract will terminate on June 27 2025.
Individuals exhibiting the following education characteristics or interests are encouraged to apply:
- Bachelor of Education
- Ability to teach both Grade 3 and 4 subjects
- Ability to effectively plan for instruction in a multigrade classroom
- Focus on high quality studentcentered learning
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership
- Willing to be involved in extracurricular activities (coaching or clubs) would be an asset
- Able to serve and live as an example of Jesus Christ to all
- Applicants with a St. Josephs College (U of A) Certificate of Catholic Education is an asset
- An Alberta teaching certificate and a current copy of all university transcripts
- A cover letter and complete resume with three references including the name of your last supervisor. Please provide email contact for references.
