Job Description
Position Overview
C&S Wholesale Grocers desires to create the most safe efficient and service forward fleet in the country. As a Professional Driver with C&S Wholesale Grocers you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and insight on the C&S Way which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have successfully completed our new hire training program you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through deliveries of product and services while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.Job Description
- Start time 45am Scheduled 5 days and off 2
- $1000 min per week guarantee

Description
- Drive a tractortrailer (semitruck/eighteenwheeler) combination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations to transport and deliver products
- Make an average of 68 stops per day; pallets can consist of all types of products
- Maneuver truck into loading or unloading position
- Weigh truck as needed enroute and/or at vendors to document weight and conform to state/company regulations
- Electronic logging according to I.C.C. regulations
- Inspect truck before and after trips and submit report indicating truck condition
- Read bill of lading to determine assignment

Skills
- DOT Certified Class A Commercial Drivers License
- Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam.
