Job Description
This role does NOT require a CDL or commercial truck license.
Success in this role can lead to internal growth within the company including training as an luxury appliance technician work in parts department or customer service.
- Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction with homeowners home personnel business owners and other customers
- Deliver a variety of appliances (e.g. icemaker oven etc) to different addresses
- Follow routes and time schedules
- Load unload prepare inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients complaints
- Collect payments
- Inform customers about new products and services
- Complete logs and reports
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver preferably with appliances
- Valid professional drivers license
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
As an appliance repair technician youll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words youll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances portable appliances mechanical work as well as electrical work.
Youll deal with more than just appliances though as a repair technician youll have to deal with people too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude have impeccable written and verbal communication skills work adeptly with repair tools be okay with lifting heavy machinery and of course be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
