Job Description
The Service Porter will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in a fastpaced and dynamic environment. This position will provide assistance to customers with their vehicles as well as clean organize and maintain the service department. The Service Porter will also be responsible for creating a positive customer experience and ensuring that all customer needs are met
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Insuring all vehicle get to the shop in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe clean and organized service department including vacuuming washing windows and ensuring that the area is wellstocked
- Provide assistance to service advisors as needed
- Ensure that all customer needs are met in a timely fashion
- Monitor the service department to ensure that all customer requests are handled properly
- Ensure that all customer requests paperwork and reports are completed in a timely manner
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of basic automotive service and maintenance procedures
