Job Overview

The Sr Analyst Operational Insights is responsible for supporting the Operations organizations continuous improvement initiatives utilizing a broad range of data sources analytical methods and business approaches to deliver actionable recommendations to executive sponsors. A Sr Analyst Operations Insights is a seasoned experienced professional with a full understanding of Financial Controls impacting systems and processes within Procurement & Supply Chain Operations. They resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways. The position focus is to perform reviews/audits of Financial SOX Controls to ensure Controls are operating as designed and when necessary provide guidance to Control Owners on what actions are required to remediate noncompliant operations. Technical skills are required to source data as part of the testing approach. The Sr Analyst will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Receives little instruction on daytoday work and general instructions on new assignments. They will provide analytical support (including analytical systems development) by dissecting and structuring a wide range of complex business problems extracting and analyzing data from a variety of sources utilizing facts/data to derive a conclusion and constructing presentations that distill complex analytical findings into communications that are intended to inform and influence decisions related to policy procedure and business practices.

*** This position must be located in Overland Park KS. This role is hybrid and cannot be a remote role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute an analysis plan for moderate projects.
  • Query data from relational databases (MS SQL server). Demonstrate strong competency and comfort working with and analyzing large sets of data.
  • Query data from Ariba/SAP Oracle ERP systems.
  • Perform data validation and data cleansing.
  • Develop presentations to show complex and customized analytical findings.
  • Perform and document Financial Control tests.
  • Participate to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build cross functional relationships.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree Quantitative Business or computerrelated field such as mathematics econometrics statistics operations research or computer science.

Work Experience:

  • 47 years related analyst work experience. (Required)
  • Experience in review and audit of Financial SOX Controls (Required)
  • SOX audits assessing financial processes and controls and ITGC. (Required)
  • Performing risk assessment and risk management to proactively identify address and mitigate risks. (Required)
  • Driving implementation of corrective actions to remediate Controls determined to be noncompliant. (Required)

Base Pay Range: $75200 $135700

Corporate Bonus Target: 15

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
