About the Role
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting all clinicians in the team with the administrative duties relating to compiling all information required to successfully run and manage the weekly Sarcoma clinic held each Monday. The role will directly support the Sarcoma Nurse Coordinators and medical team to successfully and efficiently coordinate the care of our patients.
Classifications for this position will range from HS1 HS17 $58442.80 $64610.00 per annum pro rata).

About The Sarcoma Team
The St Vincents Hospital Sarcoma service is a multidisciplinary team committed to high quality sarcoma care. We have a combined service across St Vincents and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. The weekly sarcoma clinic provides care to patients with a wide range of benign and malignant bone and soft tissue lumps/lesions and patients with metastatic bone disease requiring surgical input. The patient attendance in clinic and discussion in the multidisciplinary meeting (MDM) is critical to treatment planning team collaboration & communication. It ensures the team provides comprehensive individual care to all patients who attend our service.
