The Opportunity:
As the Clinical Contract Coordinator with the Washington State University College of Nursing CON you will play a vital role in clinical experiences for nursing students. You will manage the clinical training agreement CTA lifecycle for multiple nursing programs (RNBSNPLBSN MNDNP PhD) and new programs at four campuses statewide. In addition you will be responsible for safeguarding the interests of the organization and ensuring that contractual relationships are managed efficiently and in accordance with university and healthcare agency policies and procedures.
Your role will be the primary person responsible for initiating and monitoring the processing of clinical site affiliation agreements advising staff faculty and sites of the clinical placement process processing completed Clinical Contract Request Forms maintaining relationships with clinical sites and coordinating clinical contract related matters between the College of NursingWSUContracts Office and other clinical education programs or consortiums in Washington Oregon and Idaho.
In addition theCollege of Nursingparticipates in the Western Regional Graduate Program WGRP an agreement between 16 western states and territories. You will work closely with organizations across these locations to support direct patient and nondirect patient care placements for students.
This is a fulltime100 FTE permanent position that is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $3477 to $4632 Range 40 Steps A M Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 35728. Step M is typically a longevity step. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.
