Job Description
Associates Degree in nursing requried Bachelors or Masters degree preferred in psychiatric and mental health nursing or its equivalent or be qualified by education and experience in the care of the mentally ill.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in psychiatry or a related field with progressive leadership responsibilities; indepth knowledge of psychiatry principles practices and evidencebased interventions; & strong understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards for healthcare facilities preferred.
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
Licenses:
Current and active Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of Tennessee or compact license with the required forms filed with the State of Tennessee within 30 days
