PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
This position is responsible for the sales and marketing of all energy products within a designated area. Additional requirements include setup of equipment delivery of product performing needed service work and account collection of those Energy products.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintains a preferred prospect list and calls on prospective customers to solicit new business.
Communicates marketing programs and distributes sales promotion materials to customers and prospects.
Establishes a route system in delivery territory delivers petroleum products according to customer requirements.
Records sales and delivery information and submits required reports daily.
Prepares order forms and sales contracts.
Follows up on all customer complaints and seeks solutions in a timely manner.
Adheres to and supports the company credit policy when servicing new customers and assists in collection of accounts when necessary.
Maintains company vehicle performs basic maintenance as needed.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof and 1 3 years or more of delivery driver and/or applicable servicerelated work experience to demonstrate knowledge necessary to operate a single or tandem axle truck.
Must obtain and maintain all applicable licenses certifications and/or permits as required in order to perform the required duties.
Ability to operate company software
Must be willing to work hours beyond those considered normal.
Frequently exposed to extreme weather conditions. Working conditions may occasionally include dust fumes chemicals and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
