S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in We are looking for talented CNC Operators who have a passion for innovation and in their field of expertise enjoys working as part of a team and are committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.

As a CNC Operator you will

• Set up adjust and operate CNC machines (TC5000 Laser Metal Turning Brake Press Form Brake etc. accordingto work orders and specificationswith minor programming
• Use manual pump trucks cranes (over head / jib) and lift devices as required to move material and finished product(s)
• Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Ensure parts are manufactured in accordance with quality standards target plans and verify correct run quantities
• Visually inspect parts after each machine cycle and perform inspections as required
• Optimize the running of parts to best take advantage of the machines operating time
• Filling out production boards with output for the shift as well as assisting in planning afternoon shift production
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and follow organizational practices

Who are we looking for Someone who has

• High school diploma
• 1 year of experience as a CNC Machine Operator
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints and use calipers micrometers go nogo gauges etc.
• Excellent mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fastpaced work environment with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 22 lbs.

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Work Location: 90 Belfield road Etobicoke M9W 1G4

Shifts Available:

• Day shift is 40hrs/wk (Monday Friday; 6:30am 3pm)
• Afternoon shift is 40hrs/wk (Monday Thursday; 4pm 2 am)
• Weekend shift is 36hrs/wk (Friday Sunday; 6am 6pm)
