The Role:
Our site in Billerica MA is seeking a/an Microanalysis CoOp to join our team for the Fall 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

Our Microanalysis team is tackling the significant challenge of counting and identifying unknown nanoparticles in DIW and ultraclean aqueous samples a critical issue in the semiconductor industry. We are seeking a motivated and talented chemistry or chemical engineering coop to join our Metrology Lab. The selected coop will primarily work in a lab setting performing analytical tests using advanced metrology tools. Additionally we are acquiring a highresolution SEM system with the latest features which the coop will have the opportunity to learn and utilize during their term at Entegris.

What Youll Do:
Conduct and present analytical test results to Senior Scientists and Engineers within the Metrology Team.
Achieve proficiency in advanced analytical instruments including Atomic Force Microscopes Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) Energydispersive Xray Spectroscopy (EDS) Confocal 3D Laser Microscopes and FTIR.
Develop and refine testing methodologies.
Engage in regular discussions regarding test outcomes and offer recommendations for future project advancements.
Provide routine analytical services by assisting in sample analysis for other teams.

Knowledgeable in analytical or organic chemistry

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
Chemistry materials science chemical engineering
Graduation year of 2027 or sooner (Sophomore year student or above)

Eligibility:
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week MF 8a5p) beginning in July through December
Must be familiar with the universitys requirements to participate in a coop program

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 25lbs.

Compensation: $20$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
