Senior Analytics Engineer
Mejuri is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to help us build and scale our data platform enabling impactful datadriven decisions across the organization. As the ideal candidate you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing robust data systems that empower teams and provide realtime insights all while maintaining a focus on quality performance and governance. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex data models and highimpact analytics projects that directly contribute to business growth and margin optimization.
What Youll do:
- Architect & Optimize Data Models: Design build and optimize complex data models using the Kimball methodology. Leverage DBT to create reliable scalable and highperforming data pipelines that ensure data integrity and support business needs.
- Build SelfService Analytics Tools: Develop Looker dashboards and explores empowering teams to access and leverage data for decisionmaking. Create intuitive selfservice tools that promote transparency and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and deliver productionready insights. You will turn stakeholder requests into actionable data models and dashboards ensuring the right data is available for the right teams at the right time.
- Quality & Governance: Implement and maintain data quality frameworks and governance policies to ensure the consistency reliability and accuracy of our data.
- Platform Innovation & Best Practices: Drive platform enhancements and advocate for data best practices across the organization. Support and mentor other team members with code reviews training and knowledge sharing.
- Continuous Improvement: Ensure highquality work while continuously looking for ways to streamline processes optimize queries and improve the performance of our data systems.
What youll bring to the team
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience working with SQL and/or Python to write highperformance optimized complex queries and manipulate data. Proficient in DBT for data modelling with a deep understanding of the Kimball methodology.
- BI Tools Mastery: Expertise in building dynamic Looker dashboards and explores. Familiarity with other BI platforms like Tableau PowerBI or similar tools is a plus.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable insights for nontechnical stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to gathering and understanding business requirements.
- SelfStarter & Team Player: You take ownership of projects thrive in fastpaced agile environments and effectively manage project planning and delivery. While working independently you also value collaboration and communicate well with diverse teams to meet goals and adapt to evolving requirements.
- DataDriven Mindset: You are passionate about data and the impact it can have on business decisions. You are constantly looking for ways to improve the data platform ensuring it scales efficiently while meeting the evolving needs of the business.
