Job Description

The Regional Key Account Manager is accountable acquiring new customers writing an annual sales plan for assigned territory and assigned customers based on the overall strategy. Will build maintain and grow opportunity pipeline within assigned sales area whilst effectively managing the sales process and successful utilization of sales tools/systems and methodologies.


Job description:

  • Build the overall account strategy and collaborate with other regions to create the account strategy;
  • Develop relationships with customers and within Thermo Fisher Scientific to plan and implement an account strategy crafted to enhance capture of share of spend and partner at the highest levels with the customer;
  • Build and maintain relationship across the Microbiology Division and beyond;
  • Drive negotiations profitable growth and exceed AOP.
  • Work with field and virtual teams designed to manage business arrangements.

Keys to Success:

Education:

  • Graduate or equivalent in Microbiology Biomedical Science or Biological Science.

Experience:

  • Minimum 23 years proven sales experience and track record of over delivery and strong eye for business in the field of food safety industry
  • Account management experience with track record of success including sales management and customer focus value based sales.

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Understanding of microbiological laboratory processes and methods and regulations in the industry;
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop cases;
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally and with a wide range of employees with different abilities whilst promoting partnership;
  • Full current driving license;
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills;
  • Strong teammate with proven ability to coordinate and influence actions across a virtual team;
  • Fluent in Polish and good business English.
