Job Description

Overview

We are hiring for an Inpatient Physical Therapist at Jewish Hospital.

Address: 200 Abraham Flexner Way Louisville KY 40202

Shift Options: PRN $50/hr

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The physical therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients. In this role you will perform patient evaluation development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan delivery of treatment services and comprehensive discharge planning.

Rehab Areas of Focus:

  • Orthopedics
  • Transplants
  • Primary Stroke Center
  • Neuroscience
  • ICU/Critical Care
  • Geriatric Psychology
  • Med/Surg
  • Emergency Care
  • Lung and Cardiovascular Care (VADs TAVRs Open Heart Surgery and Heart Transplants)

Qualifications

Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):

BS/MS/DPT degree in physical therapy required.
DPT degree preferred.
Valid PT License Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy

Certification

CPR BLS through the American Heart Association.

Experience (required and preferred):

Experience in physical therapy preferred for outpatient positions.
Acute care physical therapy experience required for acute care positions.
