Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Platform Architect to drive the design and evolution advanced data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable data architectures aligned data strategies
Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies to determine their fit for business needs.
Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and define data use cases.
Assess current data platforms identify weaknesses and provide actionable recommendations.
Lead efforts to enhance data ingestion processing and integration.
Drive the transition from batch data processing to realtime Change Data Capture (CDC) mechanisms.
Map and merge diverse data sources while ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in data management and architecture.
Strong understanding of data office/platform roles and their strategic purpose.
Expertise in the Azure data ecosystem including Azure Data Factory Power BI Databricks and Erwin.
Deep knowledge of data mesh data lakehouse concepts and modern data frameworks.
Strong data flow mapping and data source integration skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in data modeling and schema design.
Handson experience transforming batch data loading into CDC processes.
