Job Description
Envision Unlimited is looking for a Residential CILA RN Nurse Trainer to join its team!
Envisions Community Living program allows clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities to live in the community in the private residence of their own.
The RN Nurse Trainer will evaluateand provide the medical health and safety needs of the clients in the host family residencies. Will provide training and authorization for nonlicensed staff.
The RN Nurse Trainerwill be responsible for:
- Documentingclient specific medical needs and interventions to provide clientprogress notes.
- Monitoring all aspects and review of client medication regimes; medication records orders bubble packs and MARs.
- Conducting caregiver and staff medication training as well as skills observation on an ongoing basis.
- Responding to all telephone calls emails and messages 24/7 and give appropriate nursing/medical directions as needed.
Hours: To be determined Can be Fulltime PartTime or some combination of flexible hours.
- Must have current license from the State of Illinois as a Registered Nurse.
- Certified in CPR.
- Valid driver license and access to reliable vehicle.
- Two years of clinical nursingexperience preferably with1 year workingwith the developmental disabilities population.
- Be able to obtain DHS Nurse Trainer Certificate within three months of employment.
- Chicagoland area
- SIGN ON BONUS UPON START AND 6 MONTHS AFTER COMPLETION OF PROBATIONARY PERIOD
