Senior Software QA Engineer:

A Senior Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive test plans cases and scenarios continuously through the product delivery cycle. They will use automation and system identification mechanisms to identify document and prioritize defects and issues in the software delivery cycle. They will collaborate closely with key business and technical stakeholders to investigate and resolve these issues to meet engineering standards. Assess technical risk in software through ideation and solutioning and be prepared to develop automations performance testing integration or unit tests to facilitate agile testing during the software delivery cycle.


What Youll Do:

  • Design and develop comprehensive test plans cases and scenarios based on product or feature requirements.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional scrum team to understand project goals and deliver highquality software solutions.
  • Identify document and manage issues found in software and collaborate with software engineers through resolution.
  • Implement and develop software testing patterns automations and best practices to ensure code quality and scalability.
  • Assess technical risk through automation integration or system test results leveraging
  • Develop performance and load test suites to assess scalability and resiliency issues
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies apply them to improve software development processes.
  • Develop and document standards methods or procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
  • Test software components and systems including unit testing integration testing system testing and endtoend testing
  • Develop supplemental software to promote quality and consistency in the SDLC
  • Provide technical support and assistance to resolve issues reported by endusers.
  • Maintain version control using tools like Git to track changes in the codebase.
  • Coordinate user and/or thirdparty testing of software.
  • Ensure testing frameworks and test cases adhere to security and data protection.
  • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle from initial concept and design to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
  • Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset
  • Manage timeline expectations within and across teams deliver on our responsibilities accordingly
  • Earn the trust of Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVAs values
  • Show discipline in bringing consistent performance communication and attitude to the job every day
  • Actively contribute to your department in order to complete tasks and meet company goals
  • Recognize the emotional stake each Team Member has in personal and organizational success of this business


The Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of working experience in software engineering and digital product delivery.
  • 3 of handson experience leveraging current technologies and tools relevant to QA engineering.
  • 3 years of QA Tooling Exposure Including:
  • Accessibility: WCAG 2.0 Level Access Axe DevTools TalkBack VoiceOver
  • CrossBrowser: Browserstack LambdaTest
  • Testing: WebdriverIO Cypress Apium Cucumber Postman Jest ESLint
  • Performance: Loadster JMeter
  • Usage of devops tooling such as Jira Zephyr CircleCI or similar
  • Familiar with modern analytics and marketing tools suchs as Firebase GA4 Braze or similar
  • Strong grasp of business processes operations and metrics.
  • Links processes to solutions and foresees challenges.
  • Applies new knowledge effectively.
  • Balances immediate customer needs with company priorities.
  • Collaborates with management on conflicting goals.
  • Manages tactical and project work based on company goals.
  • Sets and simplifies personal deadlines.
  • Documents plans and monitors progress for simple projects.
  • Conducts research and offers recommendations.
  • Assists junior contributors in problemsolving.
  • Promotes team collaboration for common goals.
  • Involves relevant stakeholders and seeks clarity.
  • Ensures team members have necessary information.
  • Serves as an escalation point for the team.
  • Occasional Travel Required.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Must be able to identify analyze and assess details
  • For certain positions must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations as applicable
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
