Finance strategically partners with operations to drive outstanding business results and enhance Fords industry leadership. When you join us youll be able to contribute financial expertise that impacts all areas of our company including planning manufacturing marketing and global distribution.

Come and lead a dynamic team at the Ohio Assembly Plant. OHAP produces three models (Econoline SuperDuty and Medium Truck) configurations for the commercial market. The plant is undergoing a site expansion right now that will be the home of an all new Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). We are looking for a dynamic personality that has strong business acumen as well as the ability to relate with our operating partners.

In this position...

  • Candidate must excel in modeling changes that occur regularly to help make better decisions for the company.
  • Cost Savings opportunities need to be driven by this position and needs to have a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Looking for a change agent that will find and implement new technology to the assignment to modernize how the controllers office and operating team operates.


Responsibilities

What youll do...

  • Deploy budget to operating partners and assist in developing roadmap ideas to achieve targets and present Cost Operating System to operating team employees.
  • Be the interface with the operating team to address cost issues/problems they may encounter.
  • Identify drive and implement cost saving ideas (think Lean) with operating counterparts.
  • Act as controller office lead for PwC Finished Vehicle and GAO audits.
  • Track supplier chargebacks and support recovery negotiations and Coordinate/complete ad hoc business requests in dynamic environment.
  • Participate in Business Control Center (BCC) Plant Control Center (PCC) & Department Control Center (DCC) reviews.
  • Conduct daily floor walks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Discover new technologies and implement them to modernize finance function.


Qualifications

Youll have...

  • Bachelors degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting).
  • Outstanding communication presentation skills and analytical ability with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work well across multiple functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Expertise in using Excel.
  • System experience required (e.g. Alteryx SharePoint etc..

  • Manufacturing experience (preferred)
