Dispatcher
Cargomatic is looking for a Dispatcher to join our West End Express growing team! Were seeking selfstarters who are eager to learn and advance professionally in an ever growing industry. As a Dispatcher youll be responsible for scheduling dispatching and resolving problems for our drivers contractors and carriers. This position requires you to have exceptional communication skills proactive customer service skills and the ability to problemsolve in a deadline driven environment.
What Youll Be Doing
- Schedule and dispatch drivers contractors and carriers
- Plan routes to ensure that pickups and deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Build strong relationships with carriers and customers
- Assess driver and vehicle capability for each requested haul
- Tracking and tracing of shipments
- Problemsolve and communicate any issues delays or concerns with shipments
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting and data entry
- Provide exceptional customer service to carriers and internal/external customers
- Navigate Cargomatics proprietary software to manage daily operations and loads
What Were Looking For
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
- Dispatching experience in the trucking industry
- Port Over The Road Full Truckload and Less Than Truckload experience
- If you do not have DRAYAGE experience you will not be considered.
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus but not required
- Possess knowledge of logistical concepts supply chain terminology and dispatch best practices
- Ability to analyze complex situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to overcome objections
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily tasks

Position Location: This position will be located at West End Express (a division of Cargomatic) in Dayton NJ 08810.
The expected annual compensation range for this role is maximum $30/hour. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience skills training location certifications education and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a casebycase basis. In addition to the base salary this position may be eligible for performancebased incentives.
