Position Description:
Vocera now a part of Stryker is seeking a Senior Staff Manual and Automation testing for onprem and cloud applications based in Bangalore. Stryker is one of the worlds leading medical technology companies and is dedicated to helping healthcare professionals perform their jobs more efficiently while enhancing patient care. Stryker offers a diverse array of innovative medical technologies including reconstructive medical and surgical and neurotechnology and spine products to help people lead more active and more satisfying lives. This position will report to the Senior Manager of R&D.
What you will do:
Technical Responsibilities:
- Led the test design and test to verify software components in alignment with the requirements and architecture defined.
- Perform endtoend testing of data pipelines data transformations and integrations between different systems.
- Collaborate with data engineers and developers to ensure data quality and performance standards are met.
- Document and report bugs found during testing collaborate with the development team for resolutions and perform regression testing to ensure fixes are effective.
- Ability to mentor and influence the team to achieve project quality objectives
- Support performance testing for largescale data systems to assess scalability throughput and response time.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to understand system requirements and ensure test coverage aligns with business needs.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Conduct design and select advanced prototyping and testing.
- Conduct technology exploration and influence application in the business.
- Develop a test strategy to verify complex systems independently.
- Independently make decisions while designing tests for multiple components of the system.
- Ability to generate and review the necessary documents with project teams. (requirements/design/architecture/bugs/test).

- Apply a strong understanding of clinical procedures to enhance product testing.
- Work cooperatively with R&D Quality Clinical Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success both leading and influencing other leaders on the team.
- Identify and lead the creation of or improvements to procedures policies processes systems and technology required.
- Contribute to complex product testing through release and lead one technical area of expertise.
- Hold yourself and others accountable to deliver highquality results with passion energy and drive to meet business priorities.
- Mentor develop and inspire others in current and future roles.
- Lead test case reviews for systems applying design principles and best practices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education Requirements:
bachelors degree in software engineering/ computer science or related discipline & 10 years of work experience.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of SQL and ability to write complex queries to validate backend data and crosscheck with UI reports.
- JIRA experience is a must
- Demonstrate good Verbal and written communication skills. Strong testing knowledge and ability to analyze requirements
- Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools and the ability to test the correctness of data displayed in reports.
- Experience in Spark flume scala Dev Extreme and JAVA is an added advantage
- Have experience with the Fitness tool for MySQL backend automation and installing applications on Windows servers.
- Gained expertise in Python for automating installer commands and running batch files.
- Experienced in TestNG framework for UI automation with Selenium using Page Object Model.
- Programming Languages:
- Handson with Jave Python and Javascript languages.
