Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Auto Service Technician at Findlay Mazda Henderson is responsible for completing routine inspections and services on Mazda vehicles. They must ensure that all maintenance and safety requirements are met and that all repairs are done correctly and in a timely manner. The position is a fulltime salary job located in Henderson Nevada and is an individual contributor role.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The Auto Service Technician at Findlay Mazda Henderson will be offered a competitive salary dependent on experience. Findlay Mazda Henderson also offers a robust package of benefits including: medical and dental health insurance vacation and paid time off 401K and training and development opportunities. $5000.00 signing bonus after probationary period.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect vehicles to identify necessary repairs utilizing computer diagnostic equipment
Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
Perform routine automotive maintenance including oil changes tire rotations transmission flushes air conditioning repairs and brake repairs
Repair and/or replace faulty parts and components as needed
Test drive vehicles to ensure proper performance
Perform all repairs according to manufacturers specifications
Complete repair paperwork including parts labor costs and time spent on each job
Follow safety regulations and guidelines
Follow all company policies and procedures
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
ASE Certification(s) preferred
Understanding of and knowledge of automotive systems and components
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Ability to read and interpret diagrams and repair manuals
Proficient with computer applications
Valid drivers license
