In this role you will be responsible for a team of Software Engineers delivering Medical device software platform to a portfolio of catching Resting ECG products.
Build a world class Resting ECG software platform team to consistently deliver to catching products that consume this platform.
Design and execute on a well thought out software platform strategy which feeds into multiple FDA approved Medical Products.
Actively present program updates to leadership in various forums.
Work with others to define future technology platforms and architecture.
Quickly learn internalize and develop a strong understanding of key priorities.
Align with global and local stakeholders on the Software Platform program timeline and associated process changes required.
Provide day to day work direction for team members engaged in projects and delivery.
Demonstrate mastery of intricacies and interactions within dynamic agile cultures and processes.
Drive a continuous learning culture to help guide continuous improvements.
Provide leadership on Lean/Agile principles and development practices.
Actively pursue new methods and practices to increase productivity
Utilize project management tools to track progress and recognize key risk areas for specific implementations.
Assist in the resolution of conflicting priorities through the proactive communication of requirements timelines and stakeholders.
Operate as an engaged leader who serves as a subject matter and technical expert for assigned programs and development initiatives.
Deep dive when anecdotes and metrics differ from each other to ensure the metrics reflect the real work status and quality.
Participate in Technical Design Reviews and Code Reviews and guide the team.
Partner with Product Management Program Manager Lead System Designer Product Owners Architects Test Engineers and Scrum Masters to build the right product on time with high focus to quality
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field. Masters degree preferred.
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience and 3 years of experience in leadership roles.
Prior programming skills and background in Design Patterns OOPs C
Embedded Software development on Linux and ability to interface with hardware design is a plus
Prior experience in delivery the project using Agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools like Jenkins SonarQube Git CI Coverity
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising on quality.
Proactive approach to problem solving and willingness to learn new technologies
Team player who can lead as well as work effectively in a group environment.
Experience in the MedTech domain is a plus
