Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions that are vital to their own industrial production. We own and operate over 2000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen nitrogen hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals petrochemicals refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leadingedge operations control center located in Houston Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
Air Liquide Large Industries (ALLIUS) is actively seeking a Maintenance Technician. The individual will perform (but not be limited to) the following responsibilities:
- Maintenance of cryogenic pumps at AL premises and customers.
- Maintenance of road tankers.
- Maintenance of onsite units at customer sites
- General plant maintenance.
- Perform Maintenance and breakdown work on road tankers Onsite installations and Bulk Installation of mechanical nature
- Preventative and corrective maintenance relating to control panels pump motors and instrumentation such as temperature controls
- Fault Finding on various types of equipment especially pumps & Compressors.
- Perform installation work (electrical instrumentation mechanical) on projects as and when required.
- Refurbishment of pumps and related equipment at the workshop including management of the spare parts.
- Communicating problems/ irregularities to the manager
- Working additional hours and standby as & when required.
- Recording information and record keeping as required (job cards record books etc..
- Adhere to the QA Procedures as laid out in the Quality Policy of Air Liquide
- Walkabouts Periodic inspections of the tankers to have a proactive system to fix issues
Are you a MATCH
- High school diploma or GED required
- Familiar with pipefitter and millwright terminology and technical knowledge of materials such as gaskets valves fittings and piping.
- Familiar with rotating machinery including compressors pumps and turbines.
- Familiar with safe work practices procedures and other safety requirements
- Expertise in operation of the following equipment Forklift and JLG
- Ability to work callouts nights weekends & possible holidays as needed.
- Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to climb ladders and work off elevated platforms/surfaces.
- Able to work in a nonconditioned environment for extended periods.
- Able to enter confined spaces for inspection testing and work.
- Able to wear appropriate PPE including hard hat safety glasses hearing protection FRC and steel toed shoes
